An alternative fuel? I didn't think they were so eco-conscious around here. Hmn, ethanol comes to mind; so does diesel, but I wouldn't put that in a typical car... In what capacity do you need this stuff, exactly?

For now? Ten, eleven gallons ought to do the trick.

All the vehicles here are electric. I imagine that's why my client wants gasoline so badly...

But as tempting as it is to pick through a collection of broken down husks for a few days, I think this arrangement will suit us all a whole lot better.

...Yeah, sounds like ethanol is what you're aiming for. If you can get your hands on a mess of cheap booze, you can distill it from that.

[Why does it always come back to alcohol for them?]

If you want to make the guy really happy, you can give him the process for cellulose ethanol refinement. [Doot doot looking up chemical reaction specs, drumming up a recipe with a little math, sending 'em your way...] All you basically do is soak wood and plant fiber in a weak acid or enzymes and ferment the sugar paste. The higher-proof the result, the better. The process isn't perfect, but at least they'll have something to keep their generators going.

What I'm trying to do is earn myself a repeat customer by making sure they don't cut out the middle woman. Because if they figure out I'm not out doing the heavy lifting and brewing this stuff up at home, I'm fairly certain they'll cancel their subscription.

This recipe is perfect, sweetheart. Couldn't thank you more if I tried. Now, if I went to the store, picked these items up, and paid you for taking a few hours out of your time to get things going, I think that's a reasonable agreement.
